Who am I?
I am a qualified auditor, and also owned my own company for several years, working on the planning, development and financing of wind turbine acquisition in Germany. Then I was diagnosed with cancer, and that changed my life. I decided that I didn’t want to work eighty hours a week anymore – I wanted a traditional nine-to-five-type job, where I could spend more time with my family.
How do I make a difference?
I’m an IT/software development manager, and my role has grown in tandem with Eurowind. I spend a lot of my time planning and managing IT development projects. In other words, I work on creating systems and automating processes that Eurowind can benefit from. Before this, I was the go-to guy for many of our controllers, helping them create systems for their tasks. Our growth has required a smoother, smarter and more automated process – which, for example, makes the transfer of useful information from one department to another much easier.
