Who am I?
I am an engineer and have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. I’ve been a part of Eurowind Energy since September 2020. During my career as an engineer, I have always worked on developing more efficient energy consumption solutions. I previously worked at a company that specialised in developing pumps for the marine industry, working towards greater sustainability by reducing our maritime carbon footprint. I also have experience in the wind industry and at the pump manufacturer Grundfos. That meant that starting out at Eurowind Energy wasn’t a major change for me. It was more just a move back to the energy sector – a sector I care about deeply.
How do I make a difference?
As a senior business developer within Strategic Business Development, my job is to develop business models for our Power-to-X projects and to find solutions for integrating Power-to-X with our wind and solar parks. One of my first tasks was to develop the overall strategy for Power-to-X together with the country managers, management and board. The whole Power-to-X industry is relatively new, which makes it even more exciting for me to work on: I can influence how we do things and structure my own tasks. I enjoy what I do every single day. For me, a good day is one where you gain new insights and have the opportunity to drive projects forward and see them succeed.
