Eurowind Energy acquires Swedish renewable energy platform from EnBW

Eurowind Energy has signed an agreement to acquire EnBW's Swedish renewable energy platform, strengthening its operational presence in Sweden through an established business comprising renewable energy generation, project development and operations and maintenance activities.

The platform comprises approximately 120 MW of operating onshore wind assets, a significant development portfolio of renewable energy projects and an established operations and maintenance business.

"This is a business we know well, and it fits well with Eurowind Energy. It strengthens our presence in Sweden with operating assets, good addition to our current development opportunities in Sweden and experienced local colleagues. At the same time, it gives Connected Wind Services a strong platform for establishing and growing its business in Sweden. Overall, it's a good fit for us," says Jens Rasmussen, CEO of Eurowind Energy.

Earlier this year, Eurowind Energy acquired Connected Wind Services Denmark from EnBW. With this transaction, Connected Wind Services also establishes operations in Sweden, strengthening its position as a Nordic provider of operations and maintenance services.

The acquisition adds an established operational platform in Sweden, combining renewable energy generation, project development and operations and maintenance under one organisation. The operating assets contribute from day one, while the development portfolio supports Eurowind Energy's continued development of renewable energy projects in Sweden. At the same time, the service business provides Connected Wind Services with a strong local platform for further growth.

Closing is subject to approval under Sweden's foreign direct investment (FDI) screening regime and is expected during the third quarter of 2026.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial terms of the transaction.
