Powering Tomorrow with Battery Storage

Eurowind Energy is your trusted business partner when powering tomorrow with battery storage. The BESS technology is key to scaling up solar and wind power, offering significant advantages for park owners and off-takers.

Unlike PV and wind turbines, BESS can consume energy and store it for later use. Additionally, BESS can rapidly adjust its output, making it an incredibly versatile technology with numerous applications such as supporting the stability of the electricity grid.

Experience and Expertise Lead the Way

At Eurowind Energy, our extensive experience with battery technologies positions us as a strong partner in the evolving energy market. Through various test projects, we've gained valuable insights into battery storage, optimization, and maintenance, and these learnings are now implemented in the requirements for the next generation of large-scale energy storage.

Our key test projects include:

  • Li-ion Battery
  • Vanadium Flow Battery
  • Nickel-Hydrogen Battery

Our largest test installation, a 1MW/1MWh Li-ion battery at Greenlab in Denmark, showcases our commitment to advancing energy storage solutions. Based on our experiences with this, we have an impressive pipeline across Europe and are ready to collaborate with forward-thinking partners to shape the future of renewable energy.

Developing BESS Technology Across Our Energy Parks

We are actively developing and implementing BESS technology in our parks across Romania, Bulgaria, Denmark, Portugal, Sweden, and other locations. Our primary focus is on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries, a type of Li-ion battery known for its high safety, long lifespan, and cost-effectiveness.

By integrating BESS technology, Eurowind Energy is committed to enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our energy parks, paving the way for a sustainable energy future.
