Press release: Eurowind Energy A/S and SUSI Partners AG expand cooperation01-04-2019 - 16:22

The Swiss fund manager SUSI Partners AG and Danish developer Eurowind Energy A/S are expanding their cooperation as SUSI commissions Eurowind Energy to manage two more of its Danish wind parks.

In addition to the Grønkær project, Eurowind Energy A/S will manage the onshore wind parks Lønborg Hede II and Nøjsomheds Odde that SUSI Partners AG has recently acquired.

Lønborg Hede II located near the Danish municipality of Ringkøbing-Skjern consists of 10 Vestas V117 turbines, while Nøjsomheds Odde located on the Danish island of Lolland consists of 7 Vestas V117 turbines. The two wind parks with a capacity of 61 MW altogether were commissioned at the beginning of 2018. Eurowind Energy A/S will handle the technical and commercial management of the turbines, which requires a professional manager with a certain volume in order to secure the best conditions and the optimal operation. With its 929 MW under management, this is an important business area for Eurowind Energy A/S.

Jens Rasmussen, CEO of Eurowind Energy A/S, says: "This is a very important strategic agreement for Eurowind Energy A/S, and I am honored that SUSI Partners AG has chosen us as asset manager. With this agreement, we are strengthening our role as a leading developer and manager of renewable energy projects in Europe. We are experiencing an increased interest in our business among institutional investors, and SUSI Partners AG is among our largest international business partners. I am looking forward to expanding our cooperation with both sale of wind farms as well as asset management."
