Eurowind Energy plans to construct up to 50 new energy parks over the next two years

Right now, Eurowind Energy is building more than ten projects around Europe, but within the next
two years, up to 50 new construction projects are planned.

A large part of the construction takes place in of Eurowind Energy's core markets, such as
Germany, Romania and Poland, but there are also several constructions planned in Southern
Europe.

The construction projects together have a capacity of more than 1.1 GW. The many ongoing
construction projects require extensive and careful planning, explains Morten Gaarde, Global
EPC Director.

"We must of course plan the purchase of the necessary technology, but also the construction
process itself, from the first sod to the final connection to the grid, must be planned and in place.
And then, not least, we must ensure continuous recruitment of notably project managers, who
have overall responsibility for the construction of a park. It is a big task that we are in the process
of solving.”

The construction sites are spread over several different technologies such as wind turbines, solar
panels, batteries, electrolysis and biogas plants, often with several technologies together in
hybrid plants.

"When we build hybrid plants, it is of course often more complex constructions. It naturally takes
a little longer and places greater demands on our people, but this is quickly offset by the
benefits we have from producing more electricity and gas from the same park. I also know that
it is one of the professional challenges that our people value," says Morten Gaarde.

It takes between 12 and 18 months to construct a new energy park. To ensure deliveries of the
necessary technology, Eurowind Energy has entered strategic collaborations with selected
suppliers so that the construction plans can be maintained.
