Investing in renewable energy is our core business

Over the years, we have invested over EUR 1 billion in developing renewable energy across Europe. Today, we own and operate more than 1100 MW of renewable energy projects in several European countries, and are soon set to expand to the US. Our facilities generate over 2067 GWh of green energy each year and counting, with new portfolio and market expansion in the pipeline.

Well-planned investments

Just like any other type of investment, renewable energy projects entail some risks. Energy prices, wind conditions, and the operating costs of wind turbines and solar PV plants all have an impact, among other aspects.

Analyzing these conditions is part and parcel of our approach. We develop and acquire projects abroad that meet our requirements for security and return on investment. Our assessments are based on extensive experience, local knowledge, wind forecasts, cost structure, turbine type, and financing.

We draw on our extensive experience in renewables to secure cost-effective prices from external suppliers and monitor their performance on an ongoing basis.

We’re always on the lookout for potential partners and new investment opportunities in renewable energy. When it comes to relationships, we look for the long term. We also work closely with institutional investors, family-owned business offices, and energy companies, which have partnered with us on investments in renewable energy projects in Denmark and other markets.
