Trzy projekty są realizowane przez spółkę joint venture Eurowind Energy w Polsce E&W project.
Zlokalizowane w województwach wągrowieckim, obornickim i wyrzyskim w północno-zachodniej części kraju projekty będą składać się z turbin wiatrowych V100-2,0 MW w połączeniu z 120-metrowymi wieżami i długoterminowymi umowami serwisowymi, maksymalizując produkcję energii, oferując jednocześnie konkurencyjny wyrównany koszt energii.
Zamówienie przyznane na polskiej aukcji energii wiatrowej i słonecznej w grudniu 2019 r. pokazuje rosnącą konkurencyjność lądowej energetyki wiatrowej w kraju, jednocześnie udowadniając, że technologia Vestas jest atrakcyjnym przypadkiem inwestycyjnym na tym rynku.
Wcześniej w tym kwartale Vestas ogłosił, że zabezpieczył ponad 1,5 GW projektów wiatrowych w Polsce od czasu wprowadzenia systemu aukcyjnego w 2018 roku. To nowe zamówienie jeszcze bardziej umacnia wiodącą pozycję rynkową Vestas w polskim sektorze energii odnawialnej i opiera się na zainstalowanej bazie ponad 2,2 GW. Vestas działa w Polsce od 2002 roku i zatrudnia w kraju około 400 osób.

Umowy obejmują również dostawę, instalację i uruchomienie turbin wiatrowych, a także 20-letnie umowy serwisowe Active Output Management 4000 (AOM 4000) dla trzech parków wiatrowych. Projekty będą wyposażone w rozwiązanie VestasOnline® Business SCADA, które skróci czas przestojów turbin, a tym samym zoptymalizuje produkcję energii.
Dostawy planowane są na trzeci kwartał 2021 roku.

The three projects are developed through Eurowind Energy’s joint venture in Poland E&W project.
Located in the Wagrowiec, Oborniki and Wyrzysk provinces in the north-western part of the country, the projects will consist of V100-2.0 MW wind turbines combined with 120m towers and long-term service contracts, maximising power production while at the same time offering competitive levelised cost of energy.
Awarded at the Polish wind-solar energy auction in December 2019, the order shows the increasing competitiveness of onshore wind energy in the country while proving that Vestas` technology is an attractive investment case in that market.
Earlier this quarter, Vestas announced it has secured more than 1.5 GW of wind projects in Poland since the country introduced its auction system in 2018. This new order further consolidates Vestas' market leadership in the Polish renewable energy sector and builds on an installed base of more than 2.2 GW. Vestas has been operating in Poland since 2002 and employs around 400 people in the country.
“We are happy to place this order for a second bundle of projects that won the 2019 renewable auction in Poland. Our pipeline of projects in Poland are substantial and we expect to place further orders in the near future. The contracts further include supply, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as 20-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM 4000) service agreements for the three wind parks. The projects will feature a VestasOnline® Business SCADA solution, lowering turbine downtime and thus optimising the energy output.
Deliveries are planned for the third quarter of 2021.
