Eurowind Energy a conclu un accord avec Vattenfall concernant l'acquisition de quatre projets de développement éolien terrestre au Danemark. Les projets sont Nørrekær Enge II près de Løgstør, Nørre Økse Sø près de Brovst, Hjelm Hede à Holstebro et Rejsby Hede dans la commune de Tønder. Les quatre projets ont une capacité combinée d'environ 325 MW et comprendront 74 éoliennes.
Une fois opérationnels, les quatre parcs éoliens terrestres fourniront de l'électricité verte à plus de 250 000 foyers.
Jens Rasmussen, PDG d'Eurowind Energy, déclare :

Vattenfall a déjà annoncé son intention de concentrer son développement éolien terrestre en Allemagne, aux Pays-Bas, au Royaume-Uni et en Suède.
Sandra Grauers-Nilsson, responsable de l'éolien terrestre chez Vattenfall, déclare :
"Déjà en 2020, nous avons décidé de recentrer nos marchés cibles pour l'éolien terrestre. Nous pensons maintenant avoir amené les quatre projets danois à un point naturel et durable où Eurowind pourra les finaliser avec succès. Vattenfall continue de voir le Danemark comme un marché important, surtout pour l'éolien offshore. De plus, Vattenfall continuera d'exploiter notre capacité éolienne terrestre existante au Danemark, ce qui s'ajoute à 210 MW."

Eurowind Energy has closed an agreement with Vattenfall regarding the acquisition of four onshore wind development projects in Denmark. The projects are Nørrekær Enge II near Løgstør, Nørre Økse Sø close to Brovst, Hjelm Hede in Holstebro and Rejsby Hede in the municipality of Tønder. The four projects have a combined capacity of approximately 325 MW and will consist of 74 wind turbines.
When operational, the four land based wind farms will deliver green power to more than 250.000 households.

Vattenfall has earlier announced intentions to focus its onshore wind development to Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, and Sweden.
Sandra Grauers-Nilsson, Head of Onshore Wind at Vattenfall says:
“Already in 2020, we decided to refocus our target markets for onshore wind. We feel now that we brought the four Danish projects to a natural and sustainable point where Eurowind will be able to finalise them well. Vattenfall still sees Denmark as an important market, especially for offshore wind. Further, Vattenfall will keep operating our existing onshore capacity in Denmark which adds up to 210 MW.”
The financial details of the agreement will not be made public.
