« Le marché américain est vaste et très différent de ce que nous connaissons. C’est également intéressant sur le plan commercial pour nous. Forts de l'expérience que nous avons accumulée au cours des 15 dernières années, nous pensons disposer désormais des compétences et des connaissances nécessaires pour devenir un élément central du marché américain. C'est pourquoi nous avons créé une filiale et établirons dans les mois à venir un bureau en Californie », explique Jens Rasmussen, PDG d'Eurowind Energy A/S.
Ce sera un salarié expérimenté qui sera aux commandes de la filiale américaine. Le responsable est Bo Schøler, qui était jusqu'à présent Country Manager de la division danoise au siège social à Hobro, au Danemark. Il va désormais déménager aux États-Unis avec sa famille.
« Bo a joué un rôle central dans le succès que nous avons dans la division danoise et ici au Danemark en général. Bo a été une pierre angulaire du développement d'Eurowind Energy ici au Danemark au cours des 13 dernières années. Nous sommes convaincus que les compétences de Bo sont les bonnes pour établir Eurowind Energy sur le marché américain », précise Jens Rasmussen. Son successeur sera l'ancien chef d'équipe de la division danoise, Jesper Houe, qui fait partie d'Eurowind Energy depuis 2015.
Eurowind Energy, à travers sa filiale américaine Eurowind Energy USA LLC, a noué une coopération avec un partenaire nord-américain et un partenaire allemand, Wind Works Power. Eurowind Energy USA LLC a déjà trois projets en développement, en coopération avec nos partenaires, consistant en trois projets hybrides en Californie de 800 MW. En outre, Eurowind Energy USA LLC coopère avec Wind Works Power concernant deux projets solaires au Texas d'une capacité totale de 330 MW avec accès au réseau. Plus tard cette année, il sera clair si les projets sont prêts à être construits l’année prochaine.
Le directeur général d'Eurowind Energy USA LLC, Bo Schøler, explique comment pénétrer le marché américain :

Ce sera passionnant de repartir de zéro, mais cette fois aux États-Unis. Grâce à une équipe formidable, nous avons eu, et avons toujours, un énorme succès au Danemark, et nous espérons pouvoir répéter le succès aux États-Unis, à la fois via une croissance organique et des partenaires de coopération stratégique.
La filiale Eurowind Energy USA LLC fait partie d'Eurowind Energy A/S, et il est prévu que la société soit bien établie avec un bureau en Californie, aux États-Unis, début 2022.

It will be an experienced employee who will be in charge of the American subsidiary. The man in charge is Bo Schøler, who until now has been Country Manager for the Danish division at the headquarter in Hobro, Denmark. He will now be moving to the US with his family.
“Bo has been a very central part of the success that we have in the Danish division and here in Denmark in general. Bo has been a key stone to building up Eurowind Energy here in Denmark for the past 13 years. We feel confident that the competences Bo has are the right ones when it comes to establishing Eurowind Energy in the American market.”, Jens Rasmussen elaborates. His successor will be the Danish divisions former team manager, Jesper Houe, who has been a part of Eurowind Energy’s since 2015.
Eurowind Energy has through the American subsidiary, Eurowind Energy USA LLC, entered into a cooperation with a North American partner and a German partner, Wind Works Power. Eurowind Energy USA LLC already has three projects under development, in cooperation with our partners, consisting of three hybrid projects in California of 800 MW. In addition to this, Eurowind Energy USA LLC cooperates with Wind Works Power concerning two solar projects in Texas with a total capacity of 330 MW with grid access. Later this year, it will be clear if the projects are ready to be build next year.
The Managing Director for Eurowind Energy USA LLC, Bo Schøler, elaborates on entering the American market:
“I really look forward to starting up Eurowind Energy on US soil. It will be a great challenge – professionally, as well as privately. It will be exciting to start from scratch again, but this time in the US. Thanks to a great team, we have had, and still have, a huge success in Denmark, and hopefully we will be able to repeat the success in US, both via organic growth and strategic cooperation partners.”
The subsidiary company Eurowind Energy USA LLC is a part of Eurowind Energy A/S, and it is expected that the company is well established with an office in California, USA in the beginning of 2022.
