SUSI Partners acquires Danish wind park from Eurowind Energy A/S28-06-2019 - 10:00

SUSI Partners has acquired the Handest Hede onshore wind park from Eurowind Energy A/S through its Renewable Energy Fund II.

The Handest Hede wind park was commissioned in December 2017 and January/February 2018 and consists of a total of six Vestas V126 3.45 MW turbines (upgraded to 3.6 MW). SUSI Partners has acquired four turbines, while Eurowind Energy A/S and the residents of the surrounding area will retain the other two turbines. The SUSI turbines will supply the equivalent amount of energy used by 10,000 households and will help reduce CO2 emissions by displacing fossil fuel generation by approximately 13,500 tonnes of CO2 per year. The wind park benefits from the Danish feed-in premium of DKK 250 per MWh. Eurowind Energy A/S continues as Asset Manager on the project – with its 939 MW under management, this is an important business area for the company.

Earlier this year, SUSI Partners purchased the Grønkær project from Eurowind Energy A/S. Furthermore, an asset management agreement on the Lønborg Hede II and Nøjsomheds Odde wind parks, consisting of a total of 17 turbines, has been entered.
